What the plan doesn’t do (we’d rather you hear it from us)
It doesn’t hand a contested lawsuit to a lawyer to run for free — contested matters get unlimited advice, document review, letters, and a 25% discount on representation.
Certain services have waiting periods (for example, uncontested divorce and adoption services become available 180 days after your plan starts).
Pre-existing situations get unlimited consultation right away — but not the waiting-period services.
Business legal matters aren’t covered by the personal plan — there’s a separate small-business plan for that.

No. Affordable Legal Support is operated by an independent LegalShield associate. Legal services come from independent provider law firms through a membership. We’ll never pretend otherwise.
What does it cost — really?
$49.95/month for the Premium plan. A living trust is a flat $250 add-on if you want one. Some services carry waiting periods, and benefits vary by state — you’ll see the plan contract before you pay anything.
